I've come to see that over the past few months people still try to cling to material things and theology when all that they need is the love of a Savior who gave everything to save us. I mean, don't get me wrong, theology is important, but when we become far too wrapped up in theology instead of focusing on the relationship that a living, loving, Holy Father wants to have with us.

What other religion can claim that God acted out of unconditional, incomprehensible love to save humanity--when in fact humanity didn't deserve anything but condemnation? None. Jews are still awaiting the Messiah, Muslims are awaiting the hidden imam who will purge the world of all infidelity, Mormons are busy pursuing their own deification; the list goes on. We've all been given so much, namely salvation and eternity with a father who wants nothing more than to welcome you home and know you. Even when we stumble and fall, He remains there awaiting for us to get back up and pursue Him. Honestly, we need to stop getting in the way of God by putting our own selfish desires first and hiding behind the little "I love Jesus" phrase that people expect. You say that you know Jesus? Show it. Don't hide behind theology-embrace the relationship and you'll find life in freedom from damnation, know peace, and experience real love for what could be the first time.
