dublin. baile atha cliath if you speak irish. there isn't a day that passes in which i don't feel some nostalgic longing for it. not just dublin, ireland in general. i felt more like myself and at home there than i do in america, which is strange because i'm quite a conservative person who's proud of where i'm from. but anyway, my family's heritage is very very irish, and being there made me realize that a LOT of irish people look like a person in my family in some way or another. no, i don't mean in the ashland sense, it's just weird to describe. it's like if an american of spanish descent went to spain, they'd realize the same thing.

i'm always thinking about something. that's just how i am. at this moment in time i find myself thinking about the upcoming weekend in canada, love (or lack thereof in my case), and an omnipresent fear and insecurity of the future. i don't know why i feel afraid about tomorrow, He's already there so I needn't worry. it's just...hard i guess. anyway...this photo should sort of get you thinking:

So if I went to the Canary Islands I'd see people that look like my family?
That'd be cool.
"Usted habla ingles? No? Crap."
Haha...
