Okay, I'd just like to say-Twilight is so NOT a chick flick. I just came back from seeing it (with Isaac and Josh...two guys, yes.) and I was actually surprised by the movie. I did go in expecting to see a film that was aimed at tween girls with the emotional radius of a pin head, but I was pleasantly proved wrong. The movie was actually quite good. The imagery was very nice, especially for being directed by a virtual unknown and put together by a rather small, unknown production company. One of my favorite parts was the piano theme ("Bella's Lullaby") that played throughout the movie. Basically...I want to steal Edward's piano. Kthx.
In other news, I've had a million things thrown at me lately. Everything from classes for next semester, interning next semester, grad school, work next summer...it's just coming at me from a million different points. In church last Sunday, I wrote my mother a note and our note passing conversation went like this:
"I'm worried."
"Why?"
"How am I going to pay for everything? School, work, interning, and the whole camp thing. It sounds so stupid, but if I can't go back there...I don't even want to think about it."
Just at that point, the congregation stood up and my mother said something that I'd heard a million times, but NEVER did it resonate like it did this time.
"You can't worry about tomorrow; God's already there. It'll all work out."
