He was pierced for our transgressions
He was crushed for our sins
The punishment that brought us peace was upon Him
And by His wounds we are healed
We are healed by Your sacrifice
And the life that You gave
We are healed for You paid the price
By Your grace we are saved
By his wounds we are saved; something so horrible yet something so amazing and beautiful. The price has been paid so that I may know grace; a love so strong that it can't even be put into words to express it. I'm so not deserving of this amazing gift, yet so willingly God sent His Son to do that for me. Wow. It's just incredible to even fathom.

Jesus is just...wow. I love the way the KJV says it, especially:
But he was wounded for our transgressions, bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.
We. Are. HEALED. In every aspect! Sin is GONE! We are healed from the curse, hallelujah... Wow. Great and mighty is He! Great and might is He! Robed in glory, arrayed in splendor! GREAT and MIGHTY is HE!
