Man, I'm horrible at updating this.

I really am horrible at updating this. Eh, at least I do from time to time. So, big things went down. Well, not too big. As most people know, I got a speeding ticket back in October and I think that it was a bit unjustly given (for other reasons I discovered today as well) so I saught the advice of my cousin and she's pretty much been a Godsend throughout this entire thing. I had to go to the courthouse this morning, and basically she handled everything for me. In the end, I've got out of it! I won't get the ticket and I won't lose my license! God truly does work in mysterious ways. I was getting worried I wasn't listening and having faith in God and this was totally his way of proving He'll always be there for me, no matter how big or small the problem.

In other news, I think I've found what I'm meant to do. I have this feeling, and it's a good feeling. I really do think that's God's way of speaking to me. I don't always hear a distinct voice in my head, I'll just get random feelings. Sitting in the courthouse this morning looking around, it definitely felt like the sort of place that I should be doing my work throughout life. I looked over at my cousin and just said "wow, this is really something I'd love to do." and Channa just kinda smiled and said "It's good to help people," and then quite sarcastically goes "...sometimes. eh."

My cousin is totally awesome. I didn't see her a whole lot growing up because she's 12 years older than me and she lived quite a ways off the beaten path (New Sweden) so we didn't get to see each other all that much. It's only been lately that we've actually started talking and what I presume to be a friendly relationship. I went over to her new house on New Years Eve and got to meet the newest addition to the Jackson/Stacey family, Ava. That baby is EXACTLY what I want my daughter to look like!

WHAT an INCREDIBLE blessing!!! Holy stinkin' cow! I'm so happy for you. I got news today that they're giving me $5000.oo for my car. That's actually more than what the rest of my loan is, so I'll have a nice chunk to put as a downpayment on my new car.

Speaking of my new car, dad & I are going shopping tomorrow at 9am!

WOOT!

Praise Jesus that I have a joy and peace that is beyond even my understanding. :)
