so tonight, i told emily i'd go to alli donovan's party just to make an appearance. i'm GLAD i went. it was a truly fun time. although there were a bunch of self invited and self righteous people who think they're something special there, the real fun was had with alli and ben and brian and the rest of that crew. they make me wish i was still in high school some days. then i saw the rest of that self invited crowd and was THANKFUL i'm not. haha, anyway. it was a good evening of chatting, seeing emily get thrown into a pool, me being hugged by numerous wet people, and people trying to throw me in. it didn't work out so well.
...being big has its benefits.

Was Emily mad?
Last night I had the pure joy of being a ref during 4 different games we played outside of youth. I laughed so hard during some of them. It was also interesting watching people who like eachother but won't admit it... I kept thinking to myself, "Wow. Can she be ANY more obvious?!"
It was funny.
It actually was a good youth night.
Surprisingly.
I also enjoyed that I got to yell 10 times trying to get Ben's attention. Mr. I-explain-the-rules-to-everyone-but-the-refs.
Yeahno. That's not okay in Rachelle's book.
And then I also enjoyed watching heat-lightning flash in the fields behind the playing field. I was like "Man, wouldn't it be bad if someone got hit...?"
Yeah, OBVIOUSLY, it would have been bad had someone gotten hit.
But no one did.
And then I drove my friend Juila, who you have yet to meet, all 200ft to her house.
It was a good night.
FYI-I suck at throwing a dodgeball.
